Courses offered by "Global Touch Education" and certified by Cerritos and LA Harbor Colleges are accepted for "Core Class" training by CAMTC.org, California Massage Therapist Certification.
We offer professional, affordable certification classes of superior quality, ranging from 4 to 500+ hours
Jeannette is the Founder, Director and Primary Instructor of Global Touch Health Care Education which provides "cutting edge" and accredited training programs for the Massage Therapist, Craniosacral Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, Nurse, Esthetician and Health/Wellness Practitioner.
We are a "school within a school", offering superior education programs taught by experienced, qualified and certified instructors and therapists. Programs are offered through three locations with certifications ranging from 4 - 500+ hours in East/West Modalities, Spa, Craniosacral and Sciences. We prepare the graduating student to apply for CA State Certification and the NCBTMB exam (National Certification For Therapeutic Bodywork).
You may attend the classes of your choice at the college of your choice, when you choose, finishing as quickly (or slowly) as your schedule permits. All programs are offered in "segments", allowing the students to earn certifications "as they go". Students may consider entering the field after completing 100 Hours of Training under a "Contingency Certification from CA State" and continue accruing hours while they are working in the field. Most students continue their training to meet the requirements of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
NCBTMB Continuing Education seminars which are accepted for recertification by the National Certification Board For Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (#450015-06) will be noted in the title of the program. NCBTMB hours are also approved by the California State Certification Board to accrue core class hours which lead to CA State Massage Certification. If you are a therapist in need of NCBTMB CEU hours in order to recertify your NCBTMB, please contact me directly. We will try to work with you to earn the hours that you need.
By integrating Anatomy/Physiology/Kinesiology, Sports, Deep Tissue, Hydrotherapy, PNF, Craniosacral and medically-related massage approaches, Jeannette has developed over 200 hours of specific injury treatment seminars. In 2005, she received acknowledgment from the American Medical Massage Association for superior curriculum development and instruction in the field.

Below you will find additional information about some of our advanced clinical/medical/sports training classes. Click on the link for class descriptions.
Classes include soft tissue techniques (ranging from light touch to deep connective tissue work), step-by-step student friendly treatment plans, medical terminology, related anatomy/physiology/kinesiology, clinical testing for tissue assessment, hydrotherapy, proprioceptor neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), stretching protocol, client home health care guidelines and rehabilitation/strengthening techniques.
By utilizing treatment modalities suited to individual client needs, the therapist has the opportunity to experience the sensitivity, awareness and intuitiveness necessary in addressing injuries. Therapists have the opportunity to develop unique skills which will assist them in touching their clients on profound levels.
When you change the way you look at things..the things you look at change...
Through individualized attention, integrity and humor, students have the opportunity to experience the joys of learning and use that knowledge as a catalyst for personal transformation.
Jeannette's dynamic and unique teaching approach incorporates the IM (Intelligence Mode) which encompasses all individual learning styles.
Student-to-instructor ratio is low. Qualified teaching assistants often join the class to provide additional supervision and support.
Students who are flying or driving in from outside locations should feel free to contact us with any questions. We can usually recommend affordable hotels close to the seminar and direct you to other students who may be willing to share accommodations and transportation.
If you are serious about your education and are seeking a specialized "one-on-one" learning environment, our classes are exactly what you've been looking for.
